It has become more important than ever to take care of our emotional health now that we are in the midst of a global pandemic.
Social distancing and quarantine, makes it impossible for most of us to meet a therapist in person. Over and above fears that ourselves or our loved ones may get ill, we may be increasingly lonely and isolated, emotionally triggered or confined within toxic relationship patterns at this time.
We do not know how long this quarantine period will last. Chronic anxiety and uncertainty can have long lasting effects on our mental health and it is important to seek personal support as well as professional help if needed sooner rather than later.
