“I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in the darkness, the astonishing light of your own being”

-Hafiz

We are a group of psychotherapists who work in person and online with clients from around the world.

We espouse integrative, trauma-informed, non-diagnostic, queer affirmative, feminist approaches to relational psychotherapy.

Our Team

Our team of highly qualified and specialised counsellors and psychotherapists are all different, with international training, unique professional styles and diverse backgrounds but what is consistent is that all of them are warm, committed, and ethical practitioners.

Although our office is closed for in-person sessions at this time during the Global COVID19 Pandemic, we are working with clients from around the world and offer online and telephone therapy services.

Our Ethos and Approach

Our approach to psychological vulnerabilities is trauma informed and contextualised within broader socio-cultural and political issues. As ethical, self-reflective practitioners we actively engage with Critical, Feminist, Post-colonial and Queer Theory approaches, and strive to build a nuanced client-centred acceptance of the difference and diversity of the human experience. We also maintain a commitment to learning and growing as individuals and practitioners.

Professional Fees

The cost of a session reflects the qualifications, specialisations and work experience of the therapist, within the framework of the typical rates in the city they are based in. Click here for more information.

Confidentiality and Ethics

Confidentiality is the cornerstone of good psychotherapeutic practice. At Soham, everything discussed with your therapist is confidential to the practice, with the notable exceptions of any material, which may cause harm to yourself or others. All our counsellors and therapists are also in regular clinical supervision… see more
